An award-winning gardener has received another TripAdvisor prize for his garden by the sea. Gardener and Argus columnist Geoff Stonebanks, from Seaford, has received yet another award for his garden, Driftwood, which is currently open to the public. Geoff has been awarded a TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Award for his consistent glowing reviews, as well as being ranked in the top 10 per cent of properties on TripAdvisor.

Driftwood has received 214 five star reviews to date. One posted on June 2 reads: “What a brilliant garden, a lovely example of how to divide a space into a series of intimate seating areas surrounded by lush, exotic planting and art works. “Not a surprise that it's won or has been a finalist in several garden awards.

And, what a lovely man Geoff, the owner, is, sharing his garden with visitors and baking them delicious cakes, all in aid of charity. “Well worth a trip if you're interested in gardens, cake or art, even better if, like us, you're a fan of all 3!” Geoff in his garden (Image: Geoff Stonebanks) Driftwood is open to the public until July 31 to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support and the National Garden Scheme and has already had 240 visitors. Another reviewer posted at the end of June: “Stunning.

An incredible landscape, bursting with colour and ideas - sympathetic plantings with interesting eclectic textures, ready mades and sculptures/glassworks. “Truly worth revisiting - inspiring.” Geoff has baked cakes for the visitors, ha.
