The Indo-French cultural centre under the French Embassy , Alliance Française de Delhi , is presenting ' Douce France ,' an exhibition by renowned French artist Henri Landier . This unique collection of 90 original works has travelled from France to India for the first time. At 89 years old, Landier continues to be a prolific figure in the art world, capturing Parisian streets and French landscapes and seascapes.

The opening on 19th July featured H.E. Thierry Mathou , Ambassador of France to India, as the guest of honour and famous art advisor and curator, Alka Pandey, as the chief guest.

French music was performed by singers from Neemrana Music Foundation, with the director of Alliance Française de Delhi accompanying them on the song 'Douce France.' H.E.

He paints the world as he sees it, creating an ode to France’s people and places,” remarked H.E. Thierry Mathou.
