The Department of Government Efficiency or DOGE has been approved by the US President-election Donald Trump who won a second term in November 5 presidential elections. Taking to X, Trump posted an official release naming SpaceX CEO Elon Musk and fellow Republican Vivek Ramaswamy as the heads of the Department. A brainchild of Musk, DOGE is humourously named after the meme cryptocurrency Dogecoin which has won numerous endorsements from the billionaire.

Many say the country is heading in the wrong direction arguing that Musk isn't even an American who got chosen by a convicted future President.
