The Rolling Stone reports that Beyonce did not authorise the use of her track, which is widely recognised as the unofficial campaign song of political adversary Kamala Harris, by the Trump campaign.

This has led the 'Lemonade' singer to take action against the 13-second clip, the Mirror reports. The clip was reportedly still accessible on the social media account of Trump campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung until Wednesday, despite a cease and desist notice being issued by her record label. It has since been taken down.

This incident occurred after the Harris-Walz campaign released a new advertisement featuring the song 'Freedom', with actor Jeffrey Wright providing the voiceover. In his narration, he poses the question: "What kind of America do we want? "One where we're divided, angry, depressed? C'mon! We're Americans! Fascism? We conquered it. The moon? Landed on it.
