DONALD Trump appeared to crack a golf joke – just days after the ex-president survived an apparent assassination attempt at his Florida golf course. The bombastic tycoon quipped the sport was a dangerous game during an appearance on the Fox News show Gutfeld! which aired on Wednesday night. Comic Greg Gutfeld asked Trump about his golf game and the ex-Apprentice host replied he hadn’t been thinking about it.

“I always said golf is a very dangerous game,” he added. Trump’s response sparked laughter on the panel, which also featured Fox News stars Kat Timpf , Tyrus, and Emily Compagno. The ex-president recalled Sunday’s apparent assassination attempt and hailed the response of the Secret Service.

Police later confirmed that no such device had been discovered but said one arrest had been made. Cops said that a person had falsely reported explosives. Trump’s rally in Long Island was held just days after shots were heard in the vicinity of his golf course.
