Dolores passed away peacefully in her home on September 12, 2024 surrounded by her loved ones.She is preceded in death by her sons, Angel Sambrano (Rose) and Ralph Sambrano; and daughter, Gloria Singleton (David); sisters, Helen, Bertha, Vera, Ernestine, Ricky, Carmen, Eva, Mary; and brother, Augie; her father, Domingo and mother, Jenoveva. She leaves behind her children, Ruth Saucedo (Frank), Dolores Rodriguez (Ralph), Rachel Walker (Anthony), Tony Sambrano (Chris), Chavelo Estrada Jr.

, Linda Sessions (Kenny) and Danny Estrada (Marina). She was blessed with 10 children, 134 grandchildren (great / great great), 6 living generations, many nieces, nephews who adored her and so many others that she opened her heart to.Dolores was the youngest of 10 siblings, born and raised in a small community called “Mexican Hollywood” in San Pedro, CA (Vincent Thomas Bridge area) where she enjoyed family, friends, music, dancing, singing and being at B&B beach.

In her later years she loved to root for the Dodgers, travel to casinos (as she called it the Pow Pow!) and visit Ports O’ Call Village (San Pedro) where she enjoyed a “Cold One”, while watching the Mariachi and Trio bands. A true San Pedro Native. Dolores would always prepare homemade dinners and snacks for those who visited her, she enjoyed her time spent with family.

Some of her favorite gifts to receive were flowers and cards. She was a happy go lucky person who was always well dressed adorned with her fine jewelry, smile.
