Actor Darshan Thoogudeepa is currently lodged in the Ballary prison for being an accused in the Renukaswamy murder case. Now, there are reports that the 47-year-old Kannada actor is facing severe back pain in prison. According to the reports, he has been receiving treatment for back pain for 9 years at the Manipal Hospital.

Now, there are discussions about if Darshan doesn’t undergo surgery to treat this pain, his life can be in danger. As per reports, it has been mentioned in Darshan’s medical reports examined and prepared by the doctors. Dr Venkatesalu, head of the Orthopedics Department at BIMS Hospital and his team are monitoring the Renukaswamy murder accused actor’s health.

The doctor and his team had recently visited him in jail and recommended an MRI. Darshan refused this demand and said that he would comply with it only in Bengaluru Prison. The doctor’s team had reported it to the BIMS director.

Now, the report prepared by the BIMS director is yet to reach the jail superintendent. According to the reports, the doctor’s report has confirmed that the Renukaswamy murder accused actor is indeed suffering from back pain. Reports point out that the Manipal Hospital doctors had also recommended surgery in the future.
