Prayagraj : Police on Tuesday scanned CCTV footage and analysed CDRs (call detail records) of Dr Kartikeya Srivastava , who was found dead in his car on SRN hospital campus on Saturday night, and others. Earlier on Monday an FIR was lodged against three persons, including an associate professor of orthopaedic department after the sister of the deceased doctor claimed involvement of three doctors, including a woman, in his death. DCP (City) Abhishek Bharti told TOI that police teams, apart from scanning CCTV footage and analysing call details, are also recording the statements of hospital staff, including lower staff and all three persons who were named in the FIR.
He said, "Police are connecting the series of incidences related to Saturday as well as the routine of Dr Kartikeya Srivastava on the day of his death." "Police are waiting for the viscera analysis report which would clear the exact picture behind the death of Dr Kartikeya Srivastava," said the DCP. The police have also recorded the statements of all three doctors named in the FIR.
