Many people including the ones who are dedicated to spirituality and devotion are confused about the date as everyone is celebrating it on two different dates and considering various muhurata. A few days ago, Kashi Vidvat Parishad in Varanasi, UP claimed that Diwali is on 31 October. Whereas, Ganeshwar Shastri Dravid ji and many other scholars of Kashi had said that the date of Diwali is 1 November.

So this caused much other confusion among the people celebrating it as to when is the right time and date to celebrate the festival, and what is the right time to perform the puja.
