DIVERS trying to reach the missing Bayesian victims are risking their lives - and bodies may never be found, a salvage expert has warned. Phil Jones , of the UK-based search team Beneath the Surface, has told The Sun the difficulties faced by those navigating in the pitch black at 164ft under. He admitted if the bodies drifted away from the yacht, they may never be recovered.

It comes as horrifying CCTV shows the moment the yacht was engulfed off the coast of Sicily on Monday morning. The 183ft boat - which was anchored for the night - was caught in a storm, including a tornadic waterspout which snapped the mast, at around 4am. Mr Jones said he is unsure the exact reason for the dive intervals without seeing the specific plans but explained that the teams will be thinking about "gas mixtures" and the best ways of manoeuvring the space safely.
