Mohonk Mountain House , an award-winning resort nestled in the Hudson Valley at the foot of the Catskills , opened their Eagle Cliff Via Ferrata experience in the spring of 2024, exclusively available for overnight guests. The first of its kind in the Shawangunk Ridge, also known as “The Gunks,” Eagle Cliff gives guests a taste of the world-renowned rock climbing scene here without being a rock climbing superstar like Alex Honnold .
