Alia Bhatt , in an candid interview to Allure magazine, shared a side of her life with Attention Deficit Disorder and how that persuaded her to treat her wedding day preparations. Known for her preference for minimal makeup , Alia has always used a direct approach as far as natural beauty and subtle looks are concerned. And, according to the actress, she was more than just adamant about keeping things simple on her D-day.

Alia also described a moment with makeup artist Puneet B. Saini, who wanted two hours to do the actress' wedding make-up. The actress denied the request by saying, "You've lost it.

Especially on my wedding day, I'm not giving you two hours because I want to chill," Alia was quoted as saying by the magazine. The star drove home her idea that beauty should be possible and uncomplicated. Though she experiments with makeup for photo shoots and for film role, Alia's everyday mantra is, "Whatever needs to happen needs to happen fast.

" She said her ADD made sitting still for long periods impossible. Fast makeup application was therefore a necessity for her. "I don't have an interest in spending too much time," she added/ Alia also seized the opportunity to define what she thinks beauty is all about, saying, "Beauty is truly what you perceive of yourself.

" She explained the proverb that "beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder," adding that only when it roots from self-perception is true beauty found. "The way you perceive yourself is the way you project," she firml.
