A Bolton car retailer is adding a new look to its model range this summer. Rbyrook Bolton car retailer is launching monochrome Black Edition models of its Volvo cars, while reintroducing previous fan favourites to its range. The Manchester Road outlet is rolling out the Black Edition versions of the fully electric Volvo EC40 crossover and EX40 SUV, as well as the petrol XC40 SUV, with prices from £40,720.

The new models boast a unique all-black exterior, including black paintwork, black high-gloss front grille, Volvo emblem and tailgate, and 20-inch five-spoke black alloy wheels. There are two powertrain choices for the EC40 and EX40 Black Editions. Apart from the rear-wheel-drive 252hp Single Motor Extended Range, it includes a new all-wheel-drive Twin Motor Performance version which offers 442hp and a performance drive mode for Bolton drivers to fully utilise its power.

The XC40 Black Edition customers can choose between the B3 and B4 petrol engines, producing 163hp and 197hp respectively. The cars are available in Plus and Ultra equipment grades, with the higher grade featuring a 360-degree parking camera system, advanced pixel LED headlights and a Harman Kardon audio system upgrade. Plus models include a heated steering wheel, heated outer rear seats, and front parking sensors, a powered driver’s seat with memory settings, and an advanced air-purification system.
