Aldi is seeking 37 new staff for its Greater Manchester distribution centre before the end of the year. The German supermarket giant's campaign supports its UK-wide growth, touting a range of positions from management to warehouse selectors and drivers. Full-time and part-time posts are available at the Bolton Regional Distribution Centre where the bulk of roles are as warehouse selectors.

Aldi UK's recruitment director, Kelly Stokes, said: "At Aldi, we’re committed to continued investment in the things that matter to our colleagues, like leading pay rates, healthcare, lifestyle benefits, and a great working atmosphere." Aldi opened its distribute centre on Cutacre mining site — at the Logistics North site in Over Hulton — in 2016, with the distribution centre and new offices spanning over a 611,250 Sq Ft space. The UK’s fourth-largest supermarket, which has more than 1,020 stores, currently employs over 45,000 people.

The recruitment push is part of a nationwide expansion drive, with Aldi pledging to create a total of more than 5,500 new jobs up and down the country in 2024..
