Dipshikkha Nagppal started her career in the 90s and is actively working in both films and television today. The actress, who is currently seen in Megha Barsenge , says her journey began with her being rather shy and reserved. She says, "I was a very reserved person when I got into showbiz.

Acting just happened to me. I remember I had to replace a girl who had participated in a modelling competition in college and I won that. After that, I kept getting modelling assignments and people started noticing me.

I used to dress very modestly and had a lot of insecurities, especially because I was the thinnest in my family. Despite my insecurities, I had the confidence in myself and was always eager to learn." She further shares, "I participated in numerous fashion shows.

It was during one of these shows that I was spotted and offered a role in the film Barsaat Ki Raat and then there was no looking back." Over the years, many things have changed in the industry and the actress feels that now the profession is taken more seriously. Dipshikkha says, "Now, people see acting in TV and films as a serious career option but earlier that wasn't the case.

Today's generation knows what they're doing and the competition is fierce. I believe I should learn from today's generation rather than offering them advice. I made silly decisions, like turning down opportunities without thinking twice.

Today's kids think things through, which is very good." Seen in shows like Baa Bahoo Aur Baby, Son Pari, .
