Veteran Tamil producer Dilli Babu breathed his last on Monday. He was 50. The producer, best known for bankrolling Vishnu Vishal 's ‘Ratsasan’, passed away at his Chennai home.
His funeral is set for 4:30 p.m. According to I ndia Today , he had been hospitalized recently due to an illness and had been receiving treatment for several months.
Despite receiving treatment, Dilli Babu could not recover and ultimately lost his battle. His untimely death has deeply affected the film industry , especially within Tamil cinema. Dilli Babu’s remains have been taken to his home in Perungalathur, Chennai.
As a prominent producer in Tamil Nadu, he was known for providing opportunities to emerging directors, helping many rise to prominence in Tamil cinema. His production house was known for its diverse and engaging films, which generated considerable excitement among fans.
