Sean “Diddy” Combs could be staying in jail for a long time as a New York federal judge just denied him bail and ordered him to remain detained until trial. It was just revealed that the 54-year-old rapper has been charged on the following three counts : racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking of children by force, fraud or coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution. Diddy faces a possible sentence of life in prison if he’s convicted on all of the charges.

While appearing in court on Tuesday (September 17), Diddy pleaded “not guilty” and his attorneys proposed that he be released on $50 million. The judge deemed Diddy a flight risk and expressed worries that he could intimidate witnesses if released from custody, so the bail request was denied.
