WASHINGTON: Dhruvi Patel won this year's Miss India Worldwide title. Dhruvi from Gujarat, is a computer information system student in the US. Dhruvi was crowned Miss India Worldwide 2024 at a ceremony held in Edison, New Jersey.

Dhruvi said that she wants to become a Bollywood actress and UNICEF ambassador. ‘The Miss India Worldwide title is a priceless honour. It's not just a crown.

It is an opportunity to inspire others with his heritage and values on a global scale,' Dhruvi said after her crowning. Dhruvi lives in Hamden, Connecticut with her parents and two siblings. The first runner-up is Lisa Abdoelhak from Suriname.

Malvika Sharma from the Netherlands became the second runner-up. The winner in the Mrs category was Suann Mouttet from Trinidad and Tobago. Sneha Nambiar from Britain became the first runner-up and Pawandip Kaur became the second runner-up.

Sierra Suret from Guadeloupe won the Miss Teen India Worldwide title in the teen category. Shreya Singh from the Netherlands and Shradha Tedjoe from Suriname were the first and second runners-up. The beauty pageant was organized by the India Festival Committee based in New York.

This competition has been organized for 31 years. It also holds the distinction of being the longest running beauty pageant outside India. It is headed by Indian Americans Neelam and Dharmatma Saran.

Winning the Miss India Worldwide title is not Dhruvi's first pageant success. She won Miss India New England title last year. She was also a conte.
