If you’ve spent any amount of time playing Zenless Zone Zero, you’ll have probably come across the Hollow Zero game mode. In this mode, you must navigate through the TV screens and pick up various buffs by killing enemies and clearing objectives to reach the end. In a lot of ways, this is ZZZ’s version of the Simulated Universe in Honkai Star Rail but arguably implemented much worse.

Hollow Zero has been drawing in a lot of complaints since the game launched, mostly due to how many times you have to clear it and how long it takes to do one run. Your incentive to clear the mode, by the way, is because you can earn Polychrome by clearing weekly tasks tied to your run. One big problem about this mode, as many in the game’s community have pointed out, is how many times you have to clear it.

The good news is that a post has surfaced about what we can expect in patch 1.1 and onwards, and it seems like HoYoverse is listening to the people. As per a thread on r/ZZZ_Official, HoYo is working on reducing the number of runs it takes to clear your weekly tasks in Hollow Zero.
