Tributes have been paid to a "wonderful" wife and sister who died earlier this month. Carol Hillier's family say she will be "dearly missed by all who knew and loved her". Their heartfelt message is among 70 left to lost loved ones from around Devon in this week's death and funeral notices.

Publishing the notices is part of a longstanding tradition in local news. Last week, the family of 23-year-old Ryan Jeffery from Tiverton announced he had died and paid tribute to the loving son and devoted brother, who they said would be missed by all his family and friends. The death and funeral notices , along with acknowledgements and in memoriams, are first placed on funeral-notices.

co.uk. This provides a permanent online space where people can add their own tributes, photos and donations, should they wish to do so.
