Candice Miller is speaking for the first time on her husband Brandon Miller’s tragic death by suicide earlier this summer after secretly dealing with financial strain that threatened their family’s lavish lifestyle. “Candice is devastated by the loss of her soul mate, and her two young daughters’ lives are forever impacted by the loss of their beloved daddy,” the influencer, who ran the “Mama & Tata” lifestyle blog, told the New York Times Friday via a family spokesperson for a piece on her husband’s passing. Brandon died in July after he was found “unconscious” at his Hamptons, NY, home.

He was 43 years old. Per the Times, police were called to the property after a carbon monoxide alarm went off. First responders discovered the late real estate mogul passed out inside of his white Porsche Carrera that he allegedly “rigged to poison himself,” law enforcement said.

He was reportedly found holding a photo of himself, his wife and their children. Brandon was transferred to a nearby hospital and placed on life support but died a few days later. Per the Times, he left a note for Candice, in which he expressed his love for her and their kids.

“He wrote that he believed he was doing what was best for them,” the outlet also noted, stating that the letter reportedly also notified Candice that there were two life insurance policies totaling about $15 million. The money would come in handy given that Brandon had been drowning in a mountain of debt. A source t.
