As someone who has recently hopped back into Warframe with a tonne of enthusiasm thanks to TennoCon, I've experienced this. Players can't help but throw gear and resources at you so you're ready for what's to come and are genuinely excited to follow your journey. Despite Destiny 2's new episodic content model providing fantastic storylines so far, it seems like players who want a strong and positive community may remain in Warframe for good.
