Destiny 2 's Solstice of Heroes has kicked off for 2024, and with it comes Fortunate Star, a new weapon you can only earn during the summertime event. Fortunate Star is a new bow with perks that can make it very effective in PvE play, especially if you're using Void or Prismatic builds that take advantage of Void debuffs. Here's everything you need to know about Fortunate Star, from where to get it to what rolls you want to chase.

How To Get Fortunate Star Fortunate Star is specifically part of the Solstice loot pool, which means you won't get it from playing other activities. The quickest and easiest way to get one is by taking part in Bonfire Bash activities. You'll have a chance to get Fortunate Stars as you complete each run, alongside other Solstice weapons like Compass Rose, Something New, and Crowning Duologue.

There are also chances to get Fortunate Stars from Solstice packages, which you can earn from completing Solstice and Forge bounties as part of the event and from completing certain Triumphs on the Solstice event card. Generally, though, you're going to get tons of Fortunate Stars from Bonfire Bash, which should make chasing good rolls easy enough.
