Planning approval has been given to transform two derelict homes in Cleethorpes into modern apart-hotels. North East Lincolnshire Council 's planning committee gave the green light to two six-bed apart-hotels at side-by-side homes in Isaac's Hill, right by the roundabout. Robertson Properties Ltd, run by mother and son duo Natalie and James D'Souza, were the applicants for both.

Late last year, they bought four adjacent properties in Isaac's Hill. The homes have been derelict for some time and, last summer, a cannabis farm was discovered there by Humberside Police. The applicants have said they are "ecstatic" to get permission to restore the two properties up at planning into apart-hotels.
