Thursday, October 10, 2024 Delta Air Lines has upgraded its daily nonstop service from New York-JFK to Accra by deploying the Airbus A330-900neo starting October 1, 2024. This advanced aircraft boosts Delta’s seating capacity on this route by about 30%, significantly enhancing the passenger experience with superior comfort features. The Airbus A330-900neo will add roughly 1,000 seats each week on flights between Ghana and the United States.

It offers passengers a selection of four cabin experiences: the luxurious Delta One Suites, the premium Delta Premium Select, the enhanced comfort of Delta Comfort+, and the economical Main Cabin. The aircraft also features increased cargo capacity to accommodate the growing demand. The Delta One Suites provide passengers with fully lie-flat seats, high-end bedding, and private doors, along with gourmet meals and top-shelf beverages.

Delta Premium Select enhances passenger comfort with wider seats and extra legroom. Both Delta Comfort+ and Main Cabin are equipped with spacious seating and memory-foam cushions, offering personalized entertainment options with over 1,000 hours of content available. Passengers across all sections will benefit from the latest amenities such as ambient lighting, designed to create a restful atmosphere throughout the flight.
