Wednesday, August 14, 2024 Delta Air Lines is expanding its air service at Palm Springs International Airport with the introduction of a new nonstop route to John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York City. This seasonal service, operating exclusively on Saturdays, will commence on December 21, 2024, and continue through May 3, 2025.

Flight timings are as follows: The service will utilize Delta’s fuel-efficient Airbus A220-300, offering 130 seats across 12 First Class, 30 Comfort Plus, and 88 Main Cabin seats. This route will be the longest operated by Delta using the A220-300, featuring a comfortable 2×3 seating arrangement with no middle seats and a unique window in the lavatory. “We are looking forward to Delta expanding their services from Palm Springs,” said PSP Executive Director Harry Barrett, Jr.

“Their new service to JFK not only boosts our connectivity to the East Coast but also brings a high level of comfort and convenience to our passengers.
