Delta Air Lines will replace its current Boeing 767-300ER aircraft with the more contemporary Airbus A330-900 neo as part of an upgrade of its transatlantic service from Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) to Dublin Airport (DUB) beginning October 25, 2025. New aircraft alert! The information was shared by Ishrion Aviation on social media. With the A330-900neo providing serious environmental advantages, this action is part of a larger trend in the airline industry toward more fuel-efficient aircraft to lower emissions and boost capacity.

Delta operates four weekly flights between Boston and Dublin, with departures scheduled on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday at 23:15 local time from Boston. The flights take about 6 hours and 5 minutes, arriving in Dublin at 09:20 local time the next day. The return flights depart Dublin at 11:30 on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, and arrive back in Boston at 15:05 local time, with a flight time of 7 hours and 35 minutes.

The schedule will be somewhat adjusted starting on November 3, 2025, with the change to daylight saving time in the United States. A new era for the BOS-DUB route Delta's new A330neo service will compete directly with Aer Lingus from Ireland, which also operates the Boston-Dublin route with its own fleet of Airbus A330-200 and A330-300 aircraft. Aer Lingus runs two daily flights on this route, offering similar schedules to Delta with departures at 18:50 and 22:20 from Boston and arrivals at 04:45 and 08:15.
