Paul Finebaum's latest comments on Colorado's upset win against UCF did not sit well with Deion Sanders Jr. Colorado took their show on the road this week and put on a dominant performance against UCF. Shedeur Sanders shook off an early interception, throwing for 290 yards and three touchdowns.
Travis Hunter provided some Heisman moments and the defense forced four turnovers. Finebaum has been critical of Deion Sanders and the Colorado program but appears ready to jump on the bandwagon. "They went someplace I thought would be incredibly difficult, and they won in dominating fashion," Finebaum said on The Matt Barrie Show on Sunday.
"As someone who has been very critical of Deion Sanders, I have to say he has managed this team quite well in spite of all the bullets, all the attacks, and all the criticism — some of it coming from me. I give him enormous credit. I don't think many people thought this was possible, outside of a group of sycophants in Boulder.

"You know bro had to throw a lil shade in there with 'managed' instead of 'coached,'" Sanders wrote on his Well Off Forever account.
Despite the pushback from Deion Sanders' eldest son, Finebaum seems genuinely convinced that the Buffaloes are here to stay as a force to be reckoned with. "Colorado is a legitimate contender in college football," Finebaum.
