Veteran wide receiver Davante Adams displayed his frustrations with the Raiders' quarterback situation on the Netflix series " Receiver ." In Week 6 of last season, Adams took a big hit on a pass from quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo. The ball popped up into the air and was intercepted.

He went to the sideline and said, "I gotta get the f--- outta here before I lose my f---ing life. I ain't never been hit this many f---ing times in my career. Every game, I get f---ed up.

" Adams' frustrations didn't stop there, either. Two weeks later, he hurt his shoulder on an inaccurate throw from quarterback Aidan O'Connell. Garoppolo is no longer in Las Vegas but O'Connell is and he's battling Gardner Minshew for the QB1 job.

Adams hopes the team gets it right this time, no matter how long the process takes. "There's pros and cons [to no timeline], but at the end of the day, we get enough reps with both guys and we are all communicating," Adams said , via Paul Gutierrez of ESPN. "We have really open conversations, and we all get reps with all the quarterbacks.

..and I'm definitely watching at all times, seeing everything and learning how the ball comes out with Gardner versus Aidan.

I got my antennas up for everything." O'Connell didn't start the 2023 season as the Raiders' starter, but he finished it as such. Through 11 games and 10 starts, the fourth-round pick from a year ago threw for 2,218 yards, 12 touchdowns and seven interceptions.

Minshew didn't light up the stat sheet, either, passing.
