Dog lovers looking for a new best friend will be happy to learn there are dozens of dogs up for adoption in Darlington. Dogs Trust Darlington have plenty of rescue dogs looking for a forever home this month. We have compiled a list of six pups hoping to bring some light into their new owner's lives.

Ralfie (Image: Dogs Trust) Ralfie is a Weimaraner Cross, a big lad with an equally big personality. At just one-two-years-old, he is bursting with energy and enthusiasm for life. Ralfie’s perfect home would be one without other pets or children, where he can be the centre of attention.

His ideal family would be experienced with larger breeds and committed to providing him with plenty of training, exercise, and enrichment games. With a garden to play in and a family dedicated to channelling his energy positively, Ralfie will undoubtedly thrive and become a loving companion. Otto (Image: Dogs Trust) Otto is a two-to-five-year-old unlisted crossbreed, known at the centre for his intelligence and love of mental and physical activities.

He enjoys searching for toys and engaging in tracking training, which keeps his sharp mind busy. Otto needs a home with no other pets or children, where he can enjoy quiet walks and plenty of playtime. Otto is a sweet, excitable boy who will bring joy and energy to any home, especially one who appreciates his love for scent training and adventure.

Spud (Image: Dogs Trust) Spud is an eight year old Terrier (Jack Russell) Cross with a heart full of love.
