A dark comedy series with an almost flawless score on Rotten Tomatoes has been branded 'genius' by viewers. The innovative show, which spans two seasons, cleverly alternates between multi-camera and single-camera setups to shift its narrative perspective. The show, Kevin Can F*** Himself, kicks off mimicking a classic American sitcom complete with canned laughter.

It stars Schitt's Creek's Annie Murphy as Allison McRoberts, who is on a quest to reinvent her life while stuck in a joyless marriage to her husband Kevin, portrayed by Eric Petersen. However, the show takes a grim turn into drama territory when, during their tenth wedding anniversary marked by a spontaneous house party, Allison finds out that Kevin has emptied their joint bank account.
