Stars of “The Righteous Gemstones,” Danny McBride and John Goodman, viewed the first episode of the popular show’s upcoming fourth season on Oct. 6 at Charleston’s Terrace Theater on James Island. McBride and Goodman were joined for the private screening by co-stars Adam Devine, Edi Patterson, Tony Cavalero and Walter Goggins, as well as other cast and crew members.

Sestero was at Terrace Theater for a meet-and-greet event celebrating the 20th anniversary of “The Room.” Sestero and McBride crossed paths for the 2017 comedy-drama film “The Disaster Artist,” which was based on Sestero’s nonfiction book of the same title. Rough House Pictures, the company behind the Charleston-filmed HBO series centered around a televangelist family’s empire, has a longstanding relationship with Terrace Theater, said owner Paul Brown.

Last month, the hometown theater held an event featuring "The Walking Dead" alum Michael Rooker, who guest stars on “The Righteous Gemstones.” And McBride, Goodman and others affiliated with Rough House Pictures have previously visited Terrace Theater to take in some entertainment. “We always try to make Terrace Theater a great viewing experience with the best picture,.
