Seven sexual predators and paedophiles are among the criminals jailed in July. Justice was served to a man who posted sexually explicit photos of his teenage victims to their family's social media pages and a former piano teacher who assaulted two boys over half a century ago. One of the paedophiles was jailed at Oxford Crown Court after trying to kill a child by pushing him off a Brighton cliff.

Here are the sexual predators who were jailed last month. David Pacera David Pacera (Image: Sussex Police) David Pacera was jailed for seven years after a woman he raped recorded the terrifying assault on her phone. His victim, who cannot be named for legal reasons, recorded audio of the attack where she can be heard saying “no” multiple times.

Pacera, 42, was found guilty of rape, attempted rape, digital penetration and sexual assault. At Hove Crown Court on July 5 he was jailed for seven years and given an indefinite restraining order. Detective Constable Ellie Treagust praised the victim for helping to secure the conviction.

She said: “I would once again like to thank the victim for the incredible courage and determination she has shown to report this incident and support the investigation through to its conclusion. “Without her resolve, aided by an audio recording made during the terrifying ordeal, we would not have been able to put a dangerous predator behind bars where he can cause no further harm to the public.” Anthony Roberts Roberts, now 83, was finally convicted .
