A unique boutique and tearoom has permanently closed. Petite Fairytale Boutique in Warwick Street, Worthing, offered princess makeovers, fairy-themed afternoon teas and parties. But the business has been forced to take the “very difficult decision to close”, shutting its doors for the final time on Sunday, November 3.
The owner, or "fairy godmother" as she is otherwise known, cited reasons such as problems with the shop’s landlord, health issues and financial difficulties, leaving the boutique “barely scraping by like so many businesses”. She said: “I must also say a big thank you to my amazing staff that have worked so hard, sometimes in very difficult circumstances.
