Less than a week removed from capturing his first main roster title, news has surfaced that LA Knight has reportedly inked a deal to remain with WWE well past his previous contract's expiry. Fightful Select reports that during this summer, Knight restructure and extended his WWE contract "for a large money increase and will be remaining with the company for a number of years." His deal originally was slated to run into the early part of 2025.
According to Fightful, Knight reportedly was close to signing a new five-year deal last fall, but the two sides were far apart on money. Under the restructured deal, Fightful has been told that "significant time" has been added to the contract and Knight "got what was considered a much-deserved pay increase." The Megastar captured the United States Championship at SummerSlam last weekend, defeating Logan Paul and capping an improbable rise in popularity.
