TWIN FALLS — As , founder and president of local organization Culture for Change Foundation, unlocked the doors of the organization’s new location right in the heart of downtown Twin Falls, she debuted a building that housed organized chaos and a strong vision that will come to fruition in the near future. Boasting 3,600 square feet, Culture for Change will take stock of Elegant Gowns & Tuxedos’ former location and offer a wide range of services for the greater Twin Falls community, from sewing and art classes to mental health services, homework help and mentorship for Magic Valley youth and adults.

In the new space, the organization will house its variety of services under one roof and serve as a community center for all residents. Christensen walked the Times-News through the building, providing a tour that outlined her vision for the space, smiling throughout the conversation and exuding excitement. Culture for Change began formally in 2019 and has served a great portion of the Twin Falls and Boise communities since then. Annually, the organization hosts fashion shows and tea parties for residents to meet others and build.
