Vadodara: The detection of crime branch (DCB) has arrested a man who used to dupe women and senior citizens outside ATM booths in various cities across the state. Tushar Kothari was nabbed by the cops from the old city. Police said Kothari has admitted to having committed an offence in the city.

According to cops, Kothari had duped a woman of Rs 40,000 at an ATM booth of the State Bank of India ( SBI ) near Mahavir Crossroads a few weeks ago. He offered her help to operate her debit card at the booth and took money on the sly. She had filed a complaint at the Panigate police station.

Crime branch sleuths said that Kothari is a history-sheeter and has committed over 25 offences of duping people outside ATM booths..
