The show's producer, Asit Kumar Modi, confirmed the news and mentioned that Neela Film Productions had filed a case citing various social media accounts, websites and YouTube channels had been exploiting their content and characters for personal gains. The case was filed about the illegal usage of the show's characters, producing animation, AI-generated images, deepfakes, and even pornographic content featuring the show's characters.

It also complained about certain platforms selling unauthorised merchandise. Modi, who has been running the show for 16 years, said in an official statement to the media: "This show has been a labour of love for everyone involved, and it's disheartening to see our hardwork being exploited in such a manner. We are grateful to the Delhi High Court for recognising the importance of protecting our intellectual property.

This order sends a strong message that such infringements will not be tolerated." He added that the court's order further brings a reassurance among everyone associated with the show that their efforts will never be wasted, and will be recognised for posterity. He continued, "As the creator of this show, I have always believed in the power of storytelling and the impact it can have on people's lives.
