Prayagraj: In a tragic incident, a couple allegedly died by suicide by jumping before a moving train near Chilbila railway station under the limits of GRP Pratapgarh on early Sunday. Upon being alerted, a team of Kotwali police, GRP and RPF rushed to the spot and carried out investigations. The bodies have been sent for postmortem.
The deceased have been identified as Gajendra Saroj (28) of Badgram (Sangrampur) of Amethi district and a 22-year-old woman of Pichura (Sangipur) Pratapgarh district, respectively.Initial police investigations revealed that the couple, who arrived at Chilbila railway station, jumped off before the Kashi Vishwanath Express around 4 am.
