A couple have discovered a stunning secluded beach they have hailed the 'Bali of the UK'. With school out and holidaymakers already descending on seaside spots, finding somewhere to relax without a crowd is becoming a rare luxury. But one TikTok duo reckon they've stumbled upon a hidden treasure, hailing it "the Bali of the UK".

One half of the @UkHiddenGems team was awestruck, revealing: "We have just arrived at the only sandbank in the whole of the UK." The clip then sweeps from their cliff-top vantage point to an idyllic cove below, and it was surprisingly quiet. Captioning the video, they wrote: "Pedn Vounder, located in Cornwall is a hidden coastal gem that enchants visitors with its natural beauty and secluded charm.

" The pair added: "Tucked away near the village of Treen, this picturesque beach boasts breathtaking vistas and a sense of tranquility that feels like a true escape from the bustling world ." While some viewers were quick to dispute the sandbank claim, another TikTok user revealed they had also visited. They wrote: "I was in Porthcurro last week and found this beach when I walked to Treen.

Glad more people are discovering it!" Another advised: "I went here last year. Probably the nicest beach I've been to. But don't take small kids.

Unless you want to carry them up and down the cliff." A local quipped: "Keep it quiet we don't want others finding out about our lovely beaches." Many warned that despite the inviting appearance of the waters, they were deceptive.
