Country music singer Darryl Worley is breathing a sigh of relief now that his 16-year-old daughter, Savannah, is "awake" following surgery to repair a broken leg she sustained in a horrific car accident. "It may be raining today but my sunshine is awake with a little smile on her face!! It’s been a rough few days but we know God is in control and shielded Savannah in all of this!!" Worley wrote Nov. 19 alongside a photo of his daughter in a hospital bed.
Worley went on to express his gratitude that his daughter's condition was "a lot better" following the surgery. Worley revealed Nov. 17 that Savannah had been involved in a “bad wreck” in an emotional asking for prayers.
