A proposal for a car park to serve the in Ashchurch near the M5 has been lodged with Tewkesbury Borough Council by developer Robert Hitchins Ltd. The planned car park, situated at ground level, would offer 607 parking spaces on a 4.2-acre site owned by Robert Hitchins at Natton House, located directly south of the Outlet.

The initial phase of the Outlet, situated at Junction 9 of the and adjacent to the A46, is scheduled to open in spring 2025. It will feature a diverse range of brands, including fashion, home goods, sports equipment, shoes, and accessories, as well as dining establishments, creating approximately 500 retail positions. Upon completion of Phase 2, the Outlet will expand to accommodate up to 90 shops and leisure units.

The original outline permission for the Cotswolds Designer Outlet site allows for a total of 2,200 parking spaces. The new planning application for parking at Natton House presents a viable alternative to the proposed multi-storey car park. This is currently the subject of a separate Reserved Matters application.
