The 33 soap star - who was a former fan favourite on the ITV soap - switched life on the cobbled streets to become a nail technician and has since set up a salon in Manchester. But in a shocking Instagram post on her business page GMFNails, Georgia -who played Katy Armstrong on Corrie - told fans on Saturday that she had "no idea" what recovery would be like.
Georgie wrote: "Thank you. Clients booked in last week, I just wanted to let you know that I had last minute surgery today. I'm not sure what the recovery is like or how quick I will be able to return.
