The 57 year old actress is believed to have married the retired journalist earlier this year in a "very low key" event attended by close family and friends. Images thought to be from the wedding depict the bride donning a red dress with black accents, complemented by a silver tiara, the Mirror reports.

Jim, on the other hand, appears to have opted for a patterned navy suit, accessorised with a red tie for the ceremony and a darker one for the reception. Sue posted the photos on Facebook a few months back, sparking a flurry of congratulatory messages in March and April. One of these images, featuring the newlyweds and some guests, is now her Instagram profile picture.

The posts were met with an outpouring of well wishes earlier this year. Responses included: "Congratulations to you both" and "You both look so happy". Someone else wrote: "Gorgeous couple.
