Coronation Street star Calum Lill has hilariously apologised as fans think they have worked out his real soap fate as Joel Deering. Viewers of the ITV soap will discover what really happened to the solicitor during Friday night's (November 15) episode. As fans know, Weatherfield's 'biggest-ever' whodunnit has been underway for weeks after Joel's body was found last month.

The twisted character was thought to have taken his own life after going missing after evading court, where he was set to face his comeuppance for some of his horrible crimes. The police carried on investigating and it wasn't long before the case became a murder investigation after Joel's body was found floating down a river. However, it was confirmed he'd been killed with a heavy weapon before entering the water and several people have since been put in the frame.
