Coronation Street star Ryan Prescott has called for his fans' help in offering support to one of the victims of the Southport stabbing, revealing she is a friend of his. Yoga teacher Leanne Lucas was left fighting for her life after the attack on July 29 in the Merseyside town which tragically claimed the lives of three children - Bebe King, six, Alice Dasilva Aguiar, nine, and Elsie Dot Stancombe, seven. Their families, who are being supported by specialist officers, and have asked that their privacy is respected at this time.

Axel Rudakubana, 17, has been charged with their murder. A trial date has been set for January 20 next year. A local yoga page previously posted on Facebook posted a picture of children's yoga teacher Leanne, with the caption reading: "I'm absolutely devastated. Please please pray for Leanne. Leanne came on my training course in December.

A beautiful young creative girl who was so passionate about helping children." Eight children were also left injured from the attack but it was confirmed on Tuesday (August 6) that they have all now been discharged from Alder Hey Children's Hospital. Merseyside Police said all of the casualties of Monday's attack have left hospital, with the exception of one child, who is being cared for at a differe.
