Coronation Street star Bill Fellows has confirmed his exit from the show after rumours he'd be bowing out after three years. The actor first appeared on the ITV soap back in 2021 as Stu Carpenter. Viewers were first introduced to the character when he inadvertently saved the vital piece of evidence which showed that Corey Brent was guilty of the murder of Seb Franklin months earlier in May 2021.

Soon after the breakthrough in the tragic hate crime case, Kelly Neelan, who had been wrongly convicted of Seb's murder, was freed and later came across Stu on the streets.
