Coronation Street is said to be in crisis after news that Sean Wilson has been axed before his big return to the cobbled streets. It comes as reports from The Sun share that Wilson, who was set to revive his role as Martin Platt was called for a meeting at the ITV offices and following the meeting never returned to the set of Corrie. Wilson was previously announced to return as part of Gail Platt’s exit storyline and currently, bosses at the soap have declined to share why the actor will not be back.
