Coronation Street: Rowan pushes Leanne to face her demons Rowan Cunliffe (played by Emrhys Cooper) is set to ramp up his determination to get his hand on more cash in next week's Coronation Street , and Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney) is his target. Fans of the ITV soap have witnessed Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) become obsessed with The Institute believing the 'cult' has drastically improved her well-being. But in reality, the self-improvement group has drawn a wedge between her family and revealed leader Rowan to be a criminal.
Amy has already considered investing in The Institute using the money she inherited from her nan Deidre Barlow (Anne Kirkbride). Luckily, her pal Aadi Alahan (Adam Hussain) convinced her not to risk all her savings and to ask Rowan further questions about how she would get her money back, and the profit. He warned her not to trust him, but Amy insisted she could trust Leanne.
