A Coronation Street favourite will leave her job in upcoming episodes, after lashing out at those around her. Amy Barlow will dramatically quit her role at The Bistro, accusing the restaurant and boss Nick Tilsley of "taking advantage of her". Fed up of being left to run the place alone, she considers what villain Rowan Cunliffe recently told her about seeking other opportunities.

Amy has been struggling recently, expected to look after her mum's shop while studying and also her busy job at The Bistro. So when she's left alone and things get hectic towards the end of the week, she finally snaps and quits on the spot. Slamming Nick, she calls him out for leaving her with no staff.

She then tells him Rowan was right and that she's being taken advantage of in a job that barely pays her. Watch me, oh and you can send me on the rest of my wages, I am owed for three shifts." With that she storms out leaving Toyah and Nick horrified and down a member of staff. Nick knows this has Rowan written all over it though amid their feud after a shock blackmail plot.
